Qualcomm, officially introduced the latest processor, the Snapdragon 820 at an event in New York City. After much news buzz about the features that will be carried, finally manufacturer from San Diego, California that will review the features and advantages of the successor to the 810 Snapdragon SoC.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 ensures that has better power consumption. Snapdragon SoC 820 using 30 percent more power efficient than previous generations. One of the factors supporting the modem components that have been integrated in this processor, so get as much as 15 percent increase in terms of power consumption, which will have an impact on battery consumption while using the 4G LTE network or WiFi.
For connectivity, Snapdragon 820 Snapdragon X12 has been providing LTE modem, which supports connectivity LTE–A and LTE–U. LTE–U alone has so far interpreted as 4G LTE network yet to get a global license. Of course, Snapdragon 820 also remains equipped with Quick Charge technology.
Snapdragon 820 also takes the brand-new Adreno 530 GPU which is claimed to have a 40% better performance in the value of the average benchmark than the Adreno 430. The new design also allows the Adreno 530 uses 40% less power than its predecessor. 820 Snapdragon processor, intended for high end gadget market which will be available as early as the beginning of 2016.
