Nvidia Preparing GPU GeForce GTX 980 MX and 970MX for Mobile Devices

maxwellNvidia has prepared a new GPU, which is intended for mobile devices. As reported from TweakTown, Wednesday (01/20/2016), from the information circulated, preparing GPU Nvidia GeForce GTX 980MX and 970MX. Unlike its predecessor, the GeForce GTX 980M and 970M, this GPU mentioned intake lower power, namely 100 Watt only, which we know that the GeForce GTX 980M requires at least 125 Watt power at full load position.

For both specifications are not so obvious, but it is said that for GeForce GTX 980MX will be equipped with a 256-bit memory, 1664 CUDA cores, 104 texture units, as well as the clock speed up to 1048MHz. While the GeForce GTX 970MX will be slightly lower with 192 bits of memory, 1408 CUDA cores, 88 texture units, and clock speed up to 941MHz. The interesting thing is, as has been mentioned above that the new GPU requires only a power of 100 Watts only.

Until now, Nvidia has not provided any information on this matter, because it is said they are also preparing the graphics processor to emulate the true rival, AMD Radeon, which is cooking GPU Polaris.
