MediaTek mobile processor manufacturer officially announced their most advanced processors, Helio X20. Using the original name MediaTek MT6797, this is deca-core processor core alias ten who first implemented the technology Tri-Cluster. That is, it installed three kinds of ARM-based architectures.

Helio X20 has a three-cluster consisting of 2 x ARM Cortex-A72 @ 2.5 GHz, 4 x ARM Cortex-A53 @ 2.0 GHz, and 4 x ARM Cortex-A53 @ 1.4 GHz. If you compare it with related information leaked Snapdragon 818, the processor is actually only uses two architectures. ARM Cortex-A53 is divided into two clusters are distinguished by speed.

MediaTek Helio X20 processor is claimed to be the first to use the CDMA2000 modem has been integrated, and LTE connectivity support Cat.6. He still uses LPDDR3 RAM technology, while the Snapdragon 818 supports RAM LPDDR4. MT6797 is also ready to support the 32 MP camera.

For the overall visual quality, MediaTek Helio uses X20 Mali T800 GPU. Performance is claimed to be 40 percent higher than Helio X10 which uses PowerVR G6200. Visual resolution will be supported optimally is qHD (2560 x 1440).

MediaTek claims, the processor will have a power consumption of 30 percent more efficient than dual-processor cluster. Helio X20 Taiwanese manufacturer TSMC will be manufactured with 20 nm fabrication, and scheduled to be available in the first quarter of 2016.
