Kingston release USB Flash drive with Keypad Access

data travelerKingston announced the launch of the USB Flash Drive encrypted DataTraveler 2000 DataTraveler 2000 offers hardware encryption and PIN protection with access via the onboard alphanumeric keypad. This product will be marketed starting in Q1 2016.
This product has a design that is intended for full security among IT professionals, small to medium-sized businesses and enterprise end users who need the protection of electronic data. DataTraveler 2000 is very easy to use in a work environment in which a variety of devices and operating systems are used as a drive in OS independent and hardware-based features, full disk AES 256-bit data encryption in XTS mode. Encryption is done on the drive and requires no software or hardware drivers.
DataTraveler 2000 alphanumeric keypad allows the user to lock the drive with a combination of words or numbers for ease of use PIN protection. For added security, the automatic lock feature is enabled when the drive is removed from the host device and the encryption key and the password is deleted after 10 times login thwart unauthorized work processes. DataTraveler 2000 is designed with strong resistance because it has a body made of aluminum to protect the various elements such as water and dust as a result of daily use.
